Developer and publisher
The game’s official listings distinguish Section 9 Interactive as developer and Epic Games Publishing as publisher. These are separate roles; an Epic purchase account is not a developer support account.
The studio’s background
Xbox Wire’s June preview discusses founders who previously worked at Tarsier on Little Nightmares. That is a development-history connection, not proof that End of Abyss shares characters, chronology or a universe with those games.
